​​​​​​​The load compartment of the Caddy cargo is prepared for almost everything. The windowless wing doors are particularly resilient. Optional power closing for the rear lid, sliding doors or extra-wide Maxi sliding doors as well as the optimised LED load compartment lighting, which is available on request, make loading incredibly easy at any time of day. You can select and use the robust floor coverings according to your individual needs. The flexible load compartment securing elements provide additional safety, as does the separate luggage compartment lock. It ensures that the doors to the cab remain locked while you can concentrate fully on loading. And anything that doesn’t fit in the large, flexible load compartment can simply be moved onto the roof, where you can transport up to 100 kg of additional material.

Save yourself long searching in your already hectic day-to-day life: The sophisticated stowage system means that you’ll always have everything important within reach. The ergoComfort seats, which are available on request, and the optional armrests for the driver and front passenger make even the longest trips a relaxed affair. The folding front passenger seat is available on request with a new back panel that serves as a practical writing surface and is conveniently accessible from the driver seat. Optional LED headlights with new poor weather light and an optional 230-V socket make travelling and working even more pleasant in the Caddy Cargo.

The Caddy Cargo has more than you think at first glance: It transports up to 723 kg with ease; up to 100 kg of which can even be on the roof. For particularly easy access, the extra-wide Maxi sliding door and the optional Keyless Advanced locking and starting system. Carefully considered solutions can also be found in the interior: The optional Digital Cockpit can be combined with a navigation system to form an infotainment landscape. You can choose from the optional Discover Media and Discover Pro navigation systems. In addition to a 25.4-cm (10-inch) colour touchscreen, various map options and free map updates, the Pro version offers voice control, convenience telephony, Streaming & Internet and, on request, wireless App-Connect. In addition, the Caddy Cargo provides access to many other mobile online services from Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

A reliable partner both for deliveries and in terms of safety, the Caddy Cargo has been awarded "Platinum" in the prestigious Euro NCAP (European New Car Assessment Programme) test. In the special tests on the safety of commercial vehicles, it impressed above all with its array of assist systems. In the event of an emergency braking manoeuvre, these assist systems make it possible to stop the vehicle in time before obstacles such as stationary or slow traffic, as well as pedestrians and cyclists. The Caddy Cargo also performed particularly well with its ability to stay precisely in lane, underlining once again its reliability on the road.
